Responsibilities:
  • Reports to Nurse Manager at Jesuit facility.
  • Coordinates and monitors staffing levels to assure quality resident care.
  • Assures adherence by nursing personnel to policies and procedures as well as compliance with federal and state regulations and standards of nursing practice.
  • Actively participates in facility and nursing department quality assurance processes.
  • Performs effective professional employment management per the standards of the nursing department and facility.
  • Functions as the clinical resource for the facility during the shift; serves as the representative of administration during the shift; actively works to resolve customer concerns and facilitates service recovery.
  • Demonstrates an ability to make quick, accurate decisions during an emergency, reflecting knowledge of infection control, emergency, safety and hazardous material policies and procedures. Provides house-wide surveillance of environmental conditions and follows through with appropriate corrective actions.
  • Achieves cooperation and teamwork through effective communications and positive relationships with residents, families and staff.
  • Responds to the needs of the Nursing staff for essential supplies and equipment for all units and consults with appropriate department heads to alleviate such needs.
  • Responsible for managing patient care, ensuring that is appropriate and timely.
  • Supervising the nursing staff – making assignments offering guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure Quality of care – Maintain high quality of care, implement changes as necessary.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of inventory for proper care of the residents.
  • BLS
  • Knowledge of nursing practices, patient care standards, and emergency care.
  • Verbal and written communication skills required to allow for relating to the residents, and the entire healthcare team.
  • Other duties within scope of job functions as assigned.
Qualifications:

RN License

A minimum of five (5) years of experience 

Min: USD $43.72/Hr. Max: USD $74.70/Hr. Benefits:
