Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to residents while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. This role also provides leadership and guidance to nursing staff and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure the highest standards of resident care.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans.
  • Assess resident needs and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor resident conditions and communicate any changes to the appropriate healthcare providers.
  • Supervise and support nursing staff and CNAs during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care.
  • Maintain compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a positive, resident-centered environment focused on quality care, dignity, and respect.

 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.
