The nursing talent liaison serves as a connection between the nursing leaders and the TA consultants to provide support to the nursing leaders with setting up and interviewing qualified candidates. This role reports directly to the Manger of Talent Acquisition. They will be responsible for developing strong candidate, leader, and recruiter relationships through understanding the needs of the units. The nursing talent liaison will work in conjunction with the TA consultants to screen and interview qualified applicants for nursing roles.

The Talent Acquisition Nursing Liason role serves as a strategic partner to hiring leaders by managing the candidate screening and interview process while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience. This role is responsible for evaluating applicants'' qualifications, assessing organizational and unit culture fit, and guiding candidates toward positions that best align with their skills, experience, and career goals.
The Nursing Liason role conducts comprehensive interviews for qualified applicants, validating education, experience, and competencies against current workforce needs. Working closely with hiring managers, the Nursing Liason role facilitates intake meetings to establish a clear understanding of position requirements, identify true staffing needs, and develop effective recruitment strategies.
This role coordinates the interview process by providing timely and accurate information to support interview scheduling and candidate shadow experiences. The Nursing Liason role clearly communicates onboarding requirements, position expectations, and unit-specific information to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
As the primary point of contact for candidates, the Nursing Liason role promotes a positive and engaging experience from initial outreach through the selection process. The role partners closely with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition Consultants by providing guidance on candidate selection, interviewing best practices, and offer recommendations, while transitioning selected candidates to the Talent Acquisition Consultant for official offer processing.
Additionally, the Nursing Liason role maintains ongoing communication with hiring managers by providing regular updates on open positions, candidate pipelines, and interview activity. Through the tracking and analysis of recruitment metrics, the Nursing Liason role identifies opportunities to improve hiring outcomes, enhance quality of hire, and implement process improvements that drive operational excellence and recruitment efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:
Screening applicants before interviewing, assessing candidate for organizational and unit culture fit, guiding applicant to most needed roles that applicant is a match for. Fully interviews qualified applicants for current openings, while confirming overall education and skill set with the available openings.
Provide necessary information timely to facilitate interview scheduling and shadow for the candidate and the leader. Facilitates intake meetings to establish clear understanding of position requirements and solidify true needs of the units. Clearly communicates the onboarding and unit/position expectations..
Drives communication with hiring managers and consultant by providing instruction and guidance on the selection process and offer. Acts as primary communication point with candidates from initial contact point to provide a positive candidate experience. Refers applicant over to the TA consultant for the processing of an official offer. .
Provide weekly updates to hiring managers on the status of their open positions and interviews. Tracks and analyzes hiring metrics to identify areas of opportunity for improved quality of hire. Identifies and implements opportunities for efficiency to drive operational excellence.
