Description

Our client is seeking a Project Engineering Manager to lead the execution of capital projects, equipment installations, automation initiatives, and manufacturing improvements. This position will oversee cross-functional teams and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with operational goals.

Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Project and Process Engineering teams across multiple capital projects.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and business cases.
  • Manage equipment procurement, installation, commissioning, and startup activities.
  • Drive automation, process improvement, and plant expansion initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Validation.
  • Oversee SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ, and other validation activities.
  • Support continuous improvement and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Mentor and develop engineers while fostering a high-performing team culture.
  • Manage engineering documentation, PFMEAs, and risk assessments.

Profile

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 7+ years of Project Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering experience.
  • Experience in FDA-regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Background managing capital equipment, automation, or facility expansion projects.
  • Strong SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and project management experience.
  • Familiarity with PFMEA, validation processes, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
