JOB REQUIREMENTS: General Nutrition Duties Maintains a safe and sanitary
kitchen environment Washes and sanitizes dishes using proper procedures
Meal service, including table setting and delivery of food to tables
Purchases food and supplies according to USDA requirements Stores food
and supplies appropriately Adapts meals for any special dietary needs
Participates in monthly staff meetings Classroom Duties Assists with
staff breaks when short staffed (if qualified). Assists in promoting a
positive climate for learning. Encourages experimentation, exploration,
problem solving, cooperation, socialization, and choice making; asks
open-ended questions and listen respectfully to the answers. Works to
develop a collaborative approach that benefits all children in the
classroom. Cleans and sanitizes classroom and equipment as requested.
Cleans bathrooms and hand washing areas as requested. Additional Job
Responsibilities Responsible for completing and submitting required
nutrition forms as scheduled. Assists in general maintenance and
security of facility. Attends agency meetings, trainings, and
professional development activities. Coordinates work schedule to meet
program needs. Other duties as assigned. * OTHER EXPERIENCE AND
QUALIFICATIONS: Frequent virtual and in-person contact with staff for
problem solving, information exchange, and coordination of efforts.
Demonstrated coaching, mentoring, and training skills. Ability to
provide for a trans-disciplinary approach to presenting information and
program evaluation. Strong organizational skills, the ability to monitor
and prioritize workload and meet strict deadlines. Ability to operate a
variety of office equipment. Good interpersonal skills. Sit for long
periods of time with daily use of computer screen; Tasks involving
repetitive arm and hand movements, such as heavy word
processing/keyboarding, using various office tools to collate, punch,
cut, or stamp paper and other repetitive or high-volume tasks such as
filing projects, etc.; Regular filing. This includes the ability to lift
files, open filing cabinets and bending as necessary; Occasionally
required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms; The ability to
