The Nutrition and Dietetics Aide will help increase, expand, and/or enhance health programs and services by: Helping patients and/or clients along in the intake process. Modeling mental health coping skills and strategies needed for resiliency. Actively listening for indicators that the patient/client needs access to mental health resources. Discreetly providing those resources to the patient. The member will participate in experiential learning which will give them the opportunity to: Immediately apply didactic lessons. Hone teamwork skills. Glean lessons from real-time coaching. Additionally, the service opportunity will include gaining knowledge and skills regarding: Food service management. Giving tours in community nutrition facilities. Giving presentations to community groups.
