The School of Health Professions at Shenandoah University invites applications for a Faculty position in the Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics Program. This is a full-time, twelve month, career-contract track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, based at the Health Professions Building in Winchester, Virginia.
The graduate program in Nutrition and Dietetics is a 21 month program that meets Fall, Spring and Summer of year one and Fall and Spring of year two. Coursework is delivered through a combination of face to face, hybrid and online instruction. The program emphasizes competency based learning with integrated supervised practice and experiential learning. The program is accredited with ACEND and will launch in the Fall 2026 semester.

This statement should address methods for engaging diverse learners, integrating evidence-based practice and competency-based learning into teaching, and supporting student development within Nutrition and Dietetics foundational coursework.

Applicants are encouraged to highlight relevant teaching and clinical experiences, approaches to mentoring and advising students, and contributions to curriculum development.
