As a Nutrition Patient Services Technician, you'll play an important role in the patient experience by delivering meals, assisting with meal selections, and ensuring dietary orders are delivered accurately and safely.
This position combines customer service, teamwork, and attention to detail while providing meaningful support to patients and caregivers throughout the hospital.
What You'll Do
Deliver patient meal trays accurately and efficiently throughout the hospital
Assist patients with meal selections and menu requests
Provide compassionate, courteous customer service to patients and families
Ensure meal deliveries align with dietary orders and department procedures
Maintain food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention standards
Record food and equipment temperatures as required
Stock and maintain service areas
Assist with meal preparation and tray assembly as needed
Keep work areas clean, organized, and ready for service
Collaborate closely with nursing staff, dietitians, and fellow team members

Schedule
Weekend Coverage Position
Choose one of the following schedules:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Saturday, Sunday, Monday
Three 12-hour shifts per week - 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Enjoy a consistent schedule while maintaining four days off each week.
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established procedures
Basic computer skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred
Previous healthcare, hospitality, food service, or customer service experience
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
ServSafe Certification or Food Handler Certification
Experience working directly with patients or customers

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
