Nutrition service aide

Job Overview

Fairview is hirirng! We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Nutrition Services Aide to join our team. In this role, you will support patient care by preparing and portioning food, assembling and delivering patient meal trays, maintaining food safety standards, and providing excellent customer service in both patient and cafeteria settings

Responsibilities

• Prepares and portions food appropriately for designated areas.
• Plates and serves food.
• Handles and stores food in a safe manner following HACCP standard operation procedures.
• Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedures.
• Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.
• Serves customers in cafeterias, doctors dining rooms and other non-patient locations.
• Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language. Basic math skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or
• GED
