Responsibilities/Job Description:
Fairview is looking for a Nutrition Services Aide at our UMMC - West Bank location, in Minneapolis, MN. This is a part time position offering 35 hours bi-weekly on day/evening shift including every other weekend.
Typical work schedule,
Week 1:Monday- 4:30PM-8:00PM, Tuesday- 4:30PM-8:00PM, Wednesday- 4:30PM-8:00PM, Thursday- 4:30PM-8:00PM
Week 2:Monday- 4:30PM-8:00PM, Tuesday- 4:30PM-8:00PM, Wednesday- 4:30PM-8:00PM, Thursday- 4:30PM-8:00PM, Saturday- 4:30PM-8:00PM, Sunday- 4:30PM-8:00PM
Prepares and portions food, assembles and disassembles patient trays in a safe manner. Serves customers, delivers, and retrieves patient trays.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and portions food appropriately for designated areas.
- Plates and serves food.
- Handles and stores food in a safe manner following HACCP standard operation procedures.
- Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedures.
- Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.
- Serves customers in cafeterias, doctors dining rooms and other non-patient locations.
- Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language. Basic math skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
Qualifications:
$21.96- $25.74 Hourly
