This is an OPEN recruitment to establish an eligibility list and fill a vacancy. The eligibility list will be used to fill permanent vacancies which may occur during the life of the eligibility list.
The current vacancy is full-time, 12 months per year, Monday-Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
The recruitment process will consist of an evaluation of the submitted supplemental form and an oral technical interview, which are tentatively scheduled during the weeks of August 11-21, 2026. Qualified applicants will be notified by US mail or email.

Basic Function
Under the direction of the Director-Nutrition Services, supervise and coordinate the operations of District cafeterias; plan, develop, coordinate and deliver comprehensive districtwide training programs; assure compliance with District, state and federal laws, regulations and reporting requirements.

Education & Experience
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and four years of experience in a large food service operation, including one year in a supervisory/training capacity.
Licenses and Other Requirements
A valid California drivers license and the ability to obtain transportation between job sites may be required for some positions. The possession of a Food Protection Manager Certification issued by an approved organization must be obtained within five months of employment.
