  • Shift is 7.5 hours after an unpaid lunch break. This shift will be either 8:30AM - 4:30PM or 9AM – 5PM and can be discussed further at an interview.
  • Travel is required and will vary from 10% to 40% a month.
  • Telecommuting will be allowed following a probationary period in the office 100%.
Job Description -
The Nutritionist position will be required to review and evaluate the food service operation and nutrition components of childcare centers, after school programs, day care homes, adult day cares, and shelters participating in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) in the NYS Metropolitan Region. The Nutritionist position will conduct on-site program reviews to evaluate food service activities and provide training and technical assistance on CACFP record keeping, meal planning and program regulations to ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations. The Nutritionist will approve or disapprove corrective action plans for implementation by organizations in a timely and effective manner. This position requires good organizational, communication, and time management skills and a professional approach to working with program staff and the public. Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Programs are required.
Registered Dietitian Certification, by the Commission on Dietetic Registration is required for this position.
This position will not supervise; monthly travel may be required.

Salary commensurate with scope of work job experience
Proper footwear required to perform tasks in a safe manner.
Perform other reasonably related duties as required.
