Role Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Business Ownership:

  • Manage sales, demand, and inventory forecasts to support growth and profitability
  • Manage OTB, receipt flow, and inventory investments to support financial and inventory goals
  • Support strategies that drive customer conversion, basket economics, and incremental sales opportunities
  • Drive key business KPIs including sales, margin, turn, markdowns, in-stock, and productivity

Inventory & Business Management:

  • Develop inventory and receipt strategies to optimize inventory flow and customer experience
  • Identify risks and opportunities through reporting and analysis
  • Partner with Buying on assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies to support financial objectives
  • Manage markdown and sell-through strategies to support inventory health and profitability
  • Develop scalable processes, reporting, and tools to support future growth

Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Partner cross-functionally with Buying, Operations, Finance, and Leadership teams to drive execution and business strategies
  • Communicate business performance, recommendations, and strategic insights to leadership
  • Act as a trusted leader within the Planning organization
  • Influence cross-functional partners and help drive alignment in ambiguous and fast-changing environments
Role Qualifications:
  • 5–7 years in Merchandise Planning and/or Inventory Planning
  • Experience managing OTB, forecasting, and inventory strategies in a retail or eCommerce environment
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in startup, high-growth, or rapidly evolving businesses
  • Experience building processes, frameworks, and inventory strategies
  • Understanding of customer conversion, basket economics, attachment behavior, and productivity drivers
  • Background in accessories, beauty, or adjacent product categories preferred
