Position Description:
Noise and Vibration Validation Engineer The ideal candidate should have a strong mathematical background with hands on mechanical experience. A candidate with an acoustical background would be beneficial. Description:
• Noise & Vibration Testing and Analysis of Steering Products
• Noise & Vibration Problem Solving and Design
• Act as the primary system validation engineering interface to the customer
• Review validation test plans as appropriate to NVH lab
• Provides test direction to support personnel
• Coordinate/schdule test and/or development programs

• Noise and Vibration Measurements and Analysis
• High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual or difficult
• Understanding of engineering theory & principles of design
• Strong oral and written communication skills required
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others
• Training in computer applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint
• Training in Artemis, LMS analysis software preferred
• Training in computer applications including Matlab, Labview or FEA preferred
• General interest in product design, particularly automotive
• Develop test plans that are specific to the corresponding design changes
• Author and owner of Engineering Test Specification
