Job description
About the Role
We're seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager with deep expertise in the NVIDIA ecosystem to serve as the technical and operational backbone of a client engagement — from pre-sales discussions through final delivery and project close-out. This is a billable, client-facing role requiring someone who can operate at a high level across technical, operational, and business conversations simultaneously. You'll act as the connective tissue between sales, engineering, technical teams, and the client — ensuring nothing falls through the cracks and everyone stays aligned from day one through go-live.
This isn't a traditional PM role limited to timelines and status updates. You need to genuinely understand what's being built, deployed, or integrated at a technical level (NVIDIA hardware, software stack, AI/GPU infrastructure, etc.) well enough to translate between technical teams and business stakeholders, anticipate risks, and keep the project moving.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the single point of continuity for the project, engaged from initial pre-sales conversations through full delivery and project completion
Participate in pre-sales technical discussions, helping scope engagements, assess feasibility, and translate client needs into actionable project plans
Act as the primary liaison bridging technical teams (engineers, architects, NVIDIA specialists) and operational/business stakeholders (client leadership, sales, account management)
Maintain a high-level, working understanding of the technical solution being delivered (NVIDIA hardware/software, GPU infrastructure, AI/ML systems, networking, or related technologies) — enough to speak credibly in technical conversations without necessarily doing the hands-on engineering work
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets throughout the engagement lifecycle
Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers early, and proactively drive resolution across teams
Facilitate regular status meetings, technical syncs, and executive updates with both internal teams and the client
Ensure consistent, clear communication and documentation across all phases (pre-sales, scoping, implementation, delivery, closeout)
Manage scope changes, escalations, and cross-team coordination to keep the project on time and on budget
Own the client relationship day-to-day, ensuring expectations are managed and trust is maintained throughout the engagement
Coordinate with NVIDIA (and/or NVIDIA partner) resources as needed for technical alignment, product updates, or escalations
Drive project closeout activities, including documentation handoff, lessons learned, and transition to support/operations
Requirements
7+ years of project management experience, with significant time spent in technical program/project management roles
Demonstrated, hands-on experience within the NVIDIA ecosystem — this could include NVIDIA hardware (GPUs, DGX systems), software stack (CUDA, AI Enterprise, Omniverse, etc.), or infrastructure/deployment projects involving NVIDIA technology
Proven ability to operate across the full project lifecycle — from pre-sales/scoping through delivery and closeout — not just execution-phase PM work
Strong technical fluency: able to understand and discuss architecture, infrastructure, and technical trade-offs at a high level, even without being the hands-on technical implementer
Excellent stakeholder management skills — comfortable working with C-level executives, technical engineers, and everyone in between
Experience acting as a "bridge" role between technical and non-technical teams, translating complexity into clear, actionable communication
Strong track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with competing priorities and tight timelines
PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar project management certification (preferred, not always required if experience is strong)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to clients and leadership
Experience working in a billable/consulting capacity, understanding how to manage scope, time tracking, and client billing expectations
Ability to travel to client sites as needed for the engagement
Preferred Qualifications
Direct experience with NVIDIA AI infrastructure deployments, data center/GPU cluster projects, or NVIDIA partner ecosystem engagements
Background in systems integration, IT infrastructure, or AI/ML project delivery
Existing relationships or familiarity with NVIDIA's partner/certification programs
Experience in a system integrator (SI), consulting, or professional services environment
Familiarity with project management tools (Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, Asana) and reporting frameworks
