Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Global Scholars Program Ambassador supports the promotion and administration of the Global Scholars program whose mission is to provide equitable access to the benefits of global learning to all students regardless of their cultural, social, or economic backgrounds.

Essntial Functions:

• Create promotional and social media assets such as posters, podcasts, Instagram and blog posts
• Conduct outreach and assessment of student engagement in global learning
• Plan and conduct co-curricular activities and events to support the Global Scholar of community and cohort engagement.
• Meet with the supervisor regularly throughout the academic year.

Secondary Functions

• Promote and create an environment that acknowledges, encourages, and celebrates differences.
• Communicate and work effectively with people of varying beliefs, behaviors, orientations, identities, and cultural backgrounds.
• Seek opportunities to gain experience working and collaborating in diverse, multicultural, and inclusive settings.
• Practice life-long learning by seeking opportunities to learn and improve.
