Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused NX CAD Application Engineer to support pre-sales activities, customer training, and technical consulting for Siemens NX CAD solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with NX CAD, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver technical demonstrations and customer support in CAD/PLM environments.

The Application Engineer will work closely with the business development team to showcase NX CAD capabilities, assist customers with solution alignment, provide technical expertise, and conduct training sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging pre-sales demonstrations of Siemens NX CAD solutions to prospective customers.
• Provide technical support and answer customer questions related to CAD and PLM software solutions.
• Assist customers with CAD/PLM solution alignment and implementation strategies.
• Install and configure NX CAD solutions as required.
• Conduct Siemens NX CAD training sessions for customers and internal teams.
• Serve as a technical expert and trusted advisor for customers.
• Mentor and coach customers on best practices and effective utilization of NX CAD tools.
• Collaborate with sales and technical teams to support business development initiatives.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication and support.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field.
• 5–10 years of hands-on experience using Siemens NX CAD.
• Strong understanding of CAD and PLM concepts, workflows, and industry terminology.
• Experience delivering technical presentations, demos, or customer training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Professional, adaptable, motivated, and detail-oriented.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Siemens PLM software environments.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and engineering design processes.
• Prior experience in technical consulting or application engineering roles.
• Customer installation and implementation experience is a plus.
