NYC Public Work DOB Superintendent - Brooklyn
Our client is a well-established New York City general contractor specializing in public-sector construction projects for agencies such as SCA, DDC, DASNY, NYCHA, CUNY, and other municipal entities. As an NYC Public Work DOB Superintendent - Brooklyn, you will:
- Manage all day-to-day field operations on public construction projects.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with NYC DOB regulations, project specifications, and safety requirements.
- Maintain project schedules and proactively address delays or field challenges.
- Lead site meetings and communicate progress to project management teams.
- Conduct quality control inspections and oversee corrective actions.
- Coordinate DOB inspections, permit requirements, and closeout activities.
- Enforce site safety programs and maintain OSHA compliance.

An ideal NYC Public Work DOB Superintendent - Brooklyn, will have:
- 7+ years of Superintendent experience with a NYC general contractor.
- Strong background managing public-sector projects for agencies such as SCA, DDC, DASNY, NYCHA, MTA, or similar.
- Thorough understanding of NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) regulations, permitting, and inspections.
- Proven ability to lead field teams and maintain project schedules.
- OSHA 30 certification required; additional safety certifications are a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing multiple trades on active construction sites.
