What You Will Do
Perform a variety of basic repair, installation, and maintenance services, including but not limited to:
Fire Alarm Systems
Camera Systems
Card Access Systems
Metasys (Building Automation)
Code Blue Phones
Other related building system products at customer sites
How You Will Do It
Execute tasks on time and within allocated hours
Work with the site manager to resolve discrepancies and coordinate solutions for system issues
Manage multiple issues simultaneously
Read and interpret software systems, programs, schematics, and operational product manuals
Provide excellent customer service by consistently communicating with the site manager and customers to ensure satisfaction
Complete project documentation promptly and submit to the site manager
Adhere to all OSHA safety policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
What We Look For
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to obtain and maintain any licenses required by national, state, and local codes
Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50–70 lbs
Able to work in challenging positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high-lift equipment up to 40 feet, and working within ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements
Strong customer service skills
Ability to lead and work well with team members
Commitment to safety guidelines and procedures
Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly
Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
Preferred:
Computer knowledge
Basic understanding of networking
Experience with hand tools, test equipment, multi-meter usage, digital analyzers, and commissioning devices
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $23-$27 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
