Schedule: M-TH 6:00am-4:30pm
Pay Rate: $37 - $43/hr DOE
Location: Boise, ID
Position Type: Full Time

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on facility electrical systems, including 4160V chillers, MCC panels, VFDs, motors from ¼–300 HP, medium voltage switchgear, UPS systems, and batteries
  • Complete preventive maintenance and work orders accurately and on time, while recommending improvements for system reliability
  • Monitor and support facility processes, identifying, addressing, and escalating issues to ensure system stability
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve equipment and process issues
  • Assist with installation, modification, and removal of electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with site standards
  • Support documentation efforts, including pass-downs, procedures, JHAs, and project tracking to ensure clear communication and execution

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of electrical experience in industrial, facilities, or maintenance environments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently, follow procedures, and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Strong time management, organization, and multitasking skills in fast-paced environments
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong team-oriented mindset
  • Demonstrated critical thinking ability, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to continuously learn and improve

Physical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
