O&M Service Technician

Position Summary Tiger Solar is seeking an O&M Service Technician to be responsible for repairing and maintaining already installed solar installations. This position is an hourly role that requires working outside in extreme environments, working at heights, and prolonged periods of repetitious duties including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods. All O&M Technicians must be able to perform the essential functions as outlined in this document. Essential Functions • Provide maintenance service to previously installed systems o Includes warranty (3 months after an installation receives permission to operate), and billable service o Communicate effectively with the customer and manage their expectations o Troubleshoot non-working solar equipment (modules, optimizers, inverters, etc.) using a variety of techniques and strategies o Contact technical support for solar equipment replacement and troubleshooting if a resolution cannot be achieved otherwise o Replace defective equipment in a timely and professional manner • Check job sites for potential hazards; understand and adhere to all applicable safety rules, regulations, practices, procedures, and determine appropriate PPE and other safety equipment for job tasks • Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace, Site Specific Safety Plans, and other applicable laws, codes, regulations, and industry standards • Review company provided weekly toolbox talks and attend quarterly safety meetings • Become knowledgeable of and follow Tiger Solar Installer Manual and the SOP's contained within • Organize work assignments and set priorities • Provide excellent customer service • Maintain vehicle organization and keep good stock of typical job materials on vehicles and in shop as needed • Participate in required trainings, old and new, for specific solar equipment commissioning Compensation details: 24-24 Hourly Wage PIfe4e541cd5b8-25448-412442225c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
