O&M Technician 12012026 Job Description
We are looking for an O&M Technician to join our M Renewables team in Italy, part of our subsidiary METKA EGN. The role is focused on day-to-day technical activities to ensure proper operation, maintenance, and reliability of our solar PV plants.
Your role will encompass:
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and support corrective maintenance activities on solar PV plants. • Assist in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, escalating complex faults when needed. • Monitor basic plant performance indicators and ensure compliance with internal procedures and safety standards. • Maintain accurate documentation, including maintenance logs and technical reports. • Support the update of server files and backups. • Handle spare parts and assist external contractors during onsite interventions. • Use and update the CMMS and other internal tools according to company procedures.
Work Requirements
Work remotely as required and travel regularly to various solar plant locations.
What You Bring to the Role
1-2 years of experience in maintenance or troubleshooting of solar PV plants or relevant electrical/industrial experience. Basic understanding of PV systems, including string inverters, trackers, MVLV equipment, and monitoring systems. Hands-on experience in general electrical works. Technical Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Knowledge of Italian HSE legislation and willingness to follow company safety procedures. Fluent Italian and basic English. Valid drivers license and availability to travel.
