We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee construction projects for the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). This full-time role is based in vibrant Los Angeles, CA, offering the chance to make a tangible impact in our community.

Job Overview

As a key member of our team, you will manage all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction to close-out. You will coordinate with public agencies, manage budgets and schedules, supervise contractors, and ensure project compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Requirements

• 10 years of professional experience in Construction and/or Project Management of Commercial or Public/Educational Facilities.
• 3 years managing complex projects with construction values exceeding $10M.
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management, or a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential.

Preferences

• Experience with Design-Build projects.
• Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM).
• Experience with LEED certified projects or the Collaborative for High Performing Schools (CHPS).
• Knowledge of Division of the State Architect (DSA) processes.
• OSHA 30 Safety Regulations certification.

Preferred Licenses and Certificates

• Certificate of Registration as an Architect or Professional Engineer in California.
• Construction Manager (CCM) credential.
