GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB
Under the general supervision of the Principal or designated supervisor, the Teacher is responsible for developing and implementing instructional lessons for elementary students in accordance with federal and state laws, as well as Charter School Authority guidelines. This position supports the effective operation of the school by coordinating and communicating with administrators, instructional and support staff, parents, and students. The role requires the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently, with periodic supervision or review.
Individual(s) assigned to this classification must report to work per their assigned schedules.

Florida law requires all school personnel to undergo a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Department of Education's Background Screening Clearinghouse. In accordance with House Bill 531, employment is contingent upon an applicant's eligibility for clearance and the successful completion of all required background screenings prior to hire.
