Some highlights of the OB Hospitalist opportunity include:

Providing call coverage and L&D support

Caring for inpatient OB and GYN patients

Providing OB and GYN consultations on the floor and Emergency Department

Overseeing residents, fellows, midwives or advanced practice nurses

Member and leader of the OB Rapid Response Team

Member of patient safety and quality review committees

Implementing quality programs and evidence-based medicine

Extensive support from OB/GYN subspecialties, including Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, and Minimally Invasive Gynecology

Hartford Hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center and a Level 4 NICU. We the largest of three sites responsible for the training of the 40 UConn OB-GYN residents

12 hour and 24 hour shifts available

Qualifications

• Board Certified OB/GYN
• 3 years of experience as an attending
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the State of Connecticut
