Our organization is in search of a Board-Certified OB/GYN physician to join us as an OB/GYN Hospitalist. This role involves delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care within our hospitalist services program, which operates at Poudre Valley Hospital and Medical Center of the Rockies located in Larimer County, Colorado. The selected physician will provide top-notch, evidence-based patient care while aligning with the clinical, operational, educational, and strategic objectives of our practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive OB/GYN hospitalist services, covering 5-7 twenty-four-hour call shifts monthly.
- Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecologic care in line with established medical practices and community standards.
- Conduct patient evaluations, admissions, deliveries, surgical procedures, consultations, emergency responses, and follow-up care as necessary.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation.
- Participate in shared obstetrical holiday call coverage as needed.
- Offer coverage during weekdays, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations governing medical practice.
- Engage in quality improvement, peer review, patient safety, and professional review initiatives.
- Contribute to business, governance, educational, strategic, and clinical initiatives of the practice as applicable.
Qualifications
Required:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Current unrestricted medical license in Colorado.
- Current unrestricted DEA registration.
- Eligibility to participate in Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal healthcare programs.
- Must currently hold or be eligible for active medical staff privileges in good standing at the relevant hospitals.
Preferred:
- Previous experience as an OB/GYN hospitalist or laborist.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in collaborative healthcare settings.

- Competitive per diem compensation rate of $166 per hour.
