We are excited to announce an opportunity for a full-time Physician to join our well-established OB/GYN practice, which has proudly served the Middlesex County community for over 75 years. Our organization is affiliated with a highly regarded hospital, recognized as one of the top 100 hospitals in the nation, and is part of one of the largest networks of OB/GYN providers in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in shared call (1:5) with the option for home call.
- Engage in approximately [insert number] deliveries annually.
- Contribute to a partnership track with no buy-in required.
- Provide care in a community-based hospital located in a college town.
- Utilize a new 11,000 sq ft office space equipped with modern facilities.
- Access an on-site surgery suite with anesthesia options.
- Perform in-office procedures such as LEEPs, IUD insertions, and biopsies with nitrous oxide setup.
- Utilize in-house ultrasound services with three machines and two accredited ultrasound technicians.
- Offer on-site mammography and breast ultrasound services.
- Collaborate with an on-site mental health practitioner dedicated to practice patients.
- Enjoy private provider offices and on-site billing staff.
- Manage a 13-month scheduling system.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Dedication to patient care and a strong commitment to the OB/GYN specialty.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team of healthcare professionals, including 5 MDs, 1 FNP, 1 WHNP, and 1 PMHNP.
- Willingness to take equal call and serve patients across two office locations: Middletown, CT, and Essex, CT.
