    OB/GYN - Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS)

    Hartford Healthcare Medical Group is seeking a full-time General Obstetrician and Gynecologist to join our Minimally Invasive Gynecologic surgery team. In this full-time, Monday through Friday role, you will practice in a collaborative team environment where all providers are connected through Epicour fully-integrated EMR system. Provides holistic, quality and cost-effective advanced practice care for patients, families, and others in a target population, and participates in the medical and surgical treatment for chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis and fibroids, to achieve or maintain optimal health status, manage disease and reduce risk of illness. Physicians in this role will participate in gynecology service coverage, surgical procedures, and ambulatory care. Obstetrics is not mandatory. Engages in independent decision-making regarding the health care of individuals, families, and groups across the lifespan and the health care continuum.

    Seeking a physician to support the MIGs team in performing surgeries at Hartford Hospital; and outpatient clinical care in our West Hartford, Glastonbury, or Southington offices and possible further expansion into South Windsor locations. Our multi-disciplinary team includes OB/GYN generalists, specialists in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, MIGS, Urogynecology, Gyn Oncology, Complex Family Planning, and Gender Health, along with Certified Nurse Midwives, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Genetic Counselors.

    Qualifications


    Qualifications:

    Applicants must possess an MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and have or be eligible to obtain a Connecticut Medical License

    Applicants must be board certified or be an active candidate for board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology

    Applicants must have completed a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) or a similar program, or have extensive experience in MIGS

    Fluency in Spanish, or languages other than English, is highly desirable but not required
