Physician Assistant - OB-GYN

Job Summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our OB-GYN team in Longview, Washington. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality womens health care across the lifespan in a collaborative patient-centered environment. The PA will work closely with OB-GYN physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to deliver comprehensive outpatient and potential inpatient services.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive womens health care, including gynecologic and obstetric services under physician collaboration • Conduct patient histories, physical exams, assessments, and develop treatment plans • Manage routine gynecologic care, prenatal, and postpartum visits, and contraceptive counseling • Assist in minor procedures and support surgical care as appropriate • Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic test results • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, preventive care, and wellness • Document care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and care teams to ensure continuity of care • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and follow evidence-based clinical guidelines

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Current or eligible Washington State Physician Assistant license NCCPA certification DEA registration or ability to obtain BLS certification

Preferred

Prior experience in OB-GYN or womens health New graduates with strong interest encouraged to apply Experience working in a team-based, integrated healthcare system

Schedule & Work Environment

Full-time position schedule may include clinic hours and shared call, depending on department needs. The practice is located in Longview, Washington, serving a close-knit community with access to outdoor recreation and proximity to Portland, Oregon.

Compensation & Benefits

• 0-3 years of experience: $71.48/hour, $147,880.40 annually • 3-5 years of experience: $73.47/hour, $152,817.60 annually • 5-10 years of experience: $75.56/hour, $157,164.80 annually • 10 years of experience: $85.33/hour, $177,486.40 annually

Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement, and paid time off. A CME allowance is also provided.
