OB/GYN Physician

JOB SUMMARY: Full time position for Board certified or Board eligible generalist Obstetrician-Gynecologist providing outpatient Ob/Gyn services. Provider will work as part of a collaborative model Ob/Gyn practice.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Communication

• Participate in Departmental initiatives and quality care projects as appropriate.
• Participate in Organizational initiatives and quality care projects as appropriate.

Teamwork

• Provide a collaborative resource for certified nurse midwives working in the Department.
• Provide a collaborative resource for non-Ob/Gyn providers working in the Department.

Patient Care

• Provide appropriate outpatient care for patients needing obstetrical and gynecologic care.

SKIILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills in reference to team members and patients

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

1. M.D. or D.O.degree

2. Evidence of graduation from approved Ob/Gyn Residency Program

3. Current licensure from State of Maryland

4. Current DEA & CDS licenses

5. Ability to be insured for malpractice insurance

6. Have skill and experience in both outpatient and inpatient obstetrical care

7. Have skill and experience in both outpatient and inpatient gynecologic care
