Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate OB/GYN Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to women with a focus on reproductive health, pregnancy, and childbirth, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the female reproductive system.

Schedule: Two full days of outpatient clinic and one 24-hour labor and delivery shift per week.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal care for patients.

  • Perform routine and high-risk obstetric procedures, including vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.

  • Diagnose and treat gynecologic conditions such as menstrual disorders, infections, infertility, and menopause-related issues.

  • Conduct annual well-woman exams, including Pap smears, breast exams, and pelvic exams.

  • Perform gynecological surgeries, such as hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and D&Cs.

  • Educate patients on birth control options, reproductive health, and disease prevention.

  • Collaborate with other physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.

  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

  • Other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited medical school.

  • Completion of an accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

  • Board certified.

  • Valid and unrestricted state medical license.

  • DEA license.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong decision making and problem solving abilities.

 Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with high risk pregnancies and complex gynecologic cases.

  • Proficiency in minimally invasive surgical techniques.

  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
