    The OB/GYN Physician will be responsible for providing appropriate primary and continuing care to all patients in Northeast Medical Group, as well as leadership, coordination, and administration duties. The Physician leads an interdisciplinary team of primary caregivers and administrative support staff to perform assigned duties while displaying the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct as well as acting in the best interest of Northeast Medical Group supporting our mission, vision and values to optimize the health and well-being of our patients.

    • Strong knowledge of medical principles, practices, procedures, and techniques related to Obstetrics and Gynecology.
    • Comprehensive understanding of pharmacologic agents and treatment protocols used in women's healthcare.
    • Ability to effectively lead and collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical and administrative teams while delivering high-quality patient care.
    • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple priorities.
    • Demonstrated professionalism, sound clinical judgment, and strong decision-making abilities.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals from diverse educational, cultural, socioeconomic, and professional backgrounds.
    • Proven ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
    Qualifications

    • Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology.
    • Demonstrated experience providing comprehensive women's healthcare in both outpatient and inpatient settings
    Licensure & Certifications
    • Current, unrestricted Connecticut medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
    • Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG), with maintenance of certification as required.
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
    • Valid DEA registration and Connecticut Controlled Substance Registration.

    Physical Requirements
    • Must possess the physical and mental capabilities necessary to perform the essential functions of an Obstetrics and Gynecology physician, including providing direct patient care and responding to urgent and emergent clinical situations.
