OB-GYN Physician | UCSF Health Medical Foundation

UCSF Health Medical Foundation's Women's Group for Health is seeking a full-time, full-scope OB-GYN Physician to join our growing practice serving Berkeley and Hercules, California. This opportunity is ideal for a physician who enjoys the full spectrum of women's healthcare, values collaboration, and is looking to build a long-term practice within a supportive, physician-focused organization.   

Position Description 

You'll work closely with experienced OB-GYN physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Certified Nurse Midwives, Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists, and hospital-based teams who share a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. Here, you'll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients while practicing evidence-based medicine in an environment focused on quality outcomes rather than productivity quotas.

Details include:  

• Full-scope OB-GYN practice with outpatient gynecology, obstetrics, labor & delivery, and gynecologic surgery. 

• Access to advanced robotic surgery technology. 

• Shared 1:4 call schedule, averaging one weekend per month. 

• Supportive PTO and coverage model designed to promote physician wellness and work-life balance.

• Base salary range $330K - $375K 

• Call pay (if applicable)  Base call is one call per weekday (Mon-Thursday) and one weekend call (Friday through Sunday) per fourth week on average.
• Robust PTO program (~40 days/year) including 14 designated holidays. 

Requirements 

• MD or DO degree 

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB-GYN 

• California medical license or eligibility 

• Strong preference for physicians with hysterectomy experience 

• Comfort working with APPs and midwives 

• 2+ years of practice experience preferred
