Our organization is on the lookout for a creative and forward-thinking OB/Gyn Physician eager to influence the future of women's healthcare. This position is ideal for an Obstetrician/Gynecologist who excels in delivering exceptional patient care while embracing innovation and utilizing technology for enhanced efficiency and experience. Candidates should have experience in practice development or start-ups and be comfortable in a rapidly growing, dynamic environment.

The perfect applicant will be a proficient OB/GYN capable of offering a comprehensive range of obstetric and gynecological services. This includes routine well-woman care, labor and delivery, and both hospital-based and outpatient surgeries, catering to a diverse patient population that varies socioeconomically, culturally, and medically. Additionally, the candidate should thrive in a technology-driven setting and a culture focused on hospitality. There is also potential for this role to evolve into a management position as we expand.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Align with the organization's mission, vision, and values.

  • Oversee and treat patients throughout their pregnancy and childbirth journey, providing prenatal and postnatal care, and collaborating with midwives as needed.

  • Maintain a strong track record of delivering high-quality routine women's health services, including diagnosing and treating gynecological and obstetrical conditions.

  • Conduct follow-up appointments to monitor patient conditions, utilizing telemedicine when appropriate.

  • Possess a solid understanding of pharmaceuticals, including potential side effects and interactions.

  • Recognize signs of physical and emotional abuse in patients.

  • Provide culturally competent care to a diverse patient population, considering socioeconomic, ethnic, and linguistic factors.

  • Guide and supervise medical staff, including nurses, nurse practitioners, and medical assistants, on proper procedures and protocols.

Qualifications:
  • Graduated from an accredited medical school and hold Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

  • Possess a valid medical license or the ability to obtain one in the District of Columbia.

  • Preferred experience of 2+ years in a hospital or private practice setting.

  • Must be credentialed with both commercial and government third-party payers.

  • Proficient in electronic medical records and comfortable with technology.

Compensation is determined based on years of experience.
