Position Overview:
Our organization is looking for an Ob/Gyn to join our expanding team of 12 Ob/Gyns and eleven Women's Health Nurse Practitioners (WHNPs). With a significant investment of $130 million aimed at enhancing women and children's services, our growing range of obstetric, gynecologic, and pediatric offerings will provide a vibrant community-based practice, supported by specialists from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
In northern Illinois, our organization conducts approximately 2,900 deliveries each year and features a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Alongside a newly constructed, state-of-the-art Women & Children's Hospital, you will have access to a modern surgical department equipped with 15 surgical suites, 4 DaVinci robots, and two dedicated C-section suites within the labor and delivery unit. An OB Hospitalist team is available around the clock for support and manages all labor triage. Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) consultants are accessible in person during the day and via phone at night, and our collegial group of Ob/Gyns can assist with complex GYN surgical cases. The call schedule is 1:9, with backup also on a 1:9 basis.

As a teaching facility, we provide the chance to collaborate with residents and medical students. The selected candidate will also have the opportunity to apply for an academic position with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford. Participation in this academic role is optional and not a requirement for members of our OB/GYN team.

$350,000-$420,000

Qualifications:
MD or DO; Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Active medical license in Illinois and an active DEA license, or the ability to obtain these licenses prior to or upon hiring.
