For newborns requiring specialized care, our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is staffed by board-certified neonatologists and a highly skilled neonatal team capable of caring for premature and critically ill infants.

  • Provider Support:
    • Collaborative team of OB/GYN physicians, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and Advanced Practice Providers
  • Patient Volume:
    • Approximately 135 births per month
    • Shared coverage between two physicians

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive inpatient obstetrical care and labor management
  • Respond to obstetric emergencies and support labor and delivery services
  • Collaborate with community OB/GYN physicians to ensure continuity of care
  • Perform deliveries and manage unassigned obstetric patients
  • Provide consultation and support to nursing staff and clinical teams
  • Participate in quality, patient safety, and clinical improvement initiatives
  • Work closely with neonatology, anesthesia, and maternal-fetal specialists to optimize patient outcomes
  • Promote a patient-centered approach focused on quality, safety, and compassionate care

Qualifications

  • Education & Training
    • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
    • Completion of an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program
  • Certification & Licensure
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
    • Active California medical license or ability to obtain licensure
    • Certifications
    • BLS and ACLS required
    • NRP preferred
  • Experience
    • One year of experience preferred
    • New graduates are encouraged to apply

Compensation & Benefits

  • Income Guarantee: $436,800
  • Sign-On Bonus: Up to $50,000
  • Relocation Assistance: Up to $20,000 for qualified candidates
