Our organization, situated in Spartanburg, SC, is excited to announce an opportunity for OB Hospitalists to become part of a newly established and expanding program. The role involves providing emergency care, unassigned duties, and call coverage, as well as assisting in the management of private OBGYN deliveries and gynecological emergencies. Opportunity Highlights
- Active 14-bed Labor & Delivery unit with over 3,500 deliveries annually and 12,000 OBED visits.
- A new OBGYN residency program launching in July 2025, providing support and teaching opportunities for residents.
- The Hospitalist will be present for all deliveries, emergency OB consultations, and will oversee a 6-bed OBED.
- Utilization of a Double Coverage Physician Model with Certified Nurse Midwife support.
- Full-time commitment involves 24-hour shifts within a 4-week block.
- Access to 24-hour in-house OB anesthesia, Level III NICU provider coverage, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists.
