Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate OBGYN Physician to join our premier healthcare team in Brawley, CA. This is an inviting opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to women in our community, spanning from prenatal support to complex gynecological management. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide highest quality healthcare to female patients

  • Monitor patients during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods

  • Perform tests, prescribe medications, and treatments as necessary

  • Deliver babies ensuring health and safety of both infant and mother

  • Participate in developing and reviewing Clinic's policies and services

  • Deliver outpatient and in-hospital medical care

  • Take responsibility for accurate charting and documentation

  • Manage cases for patients with chronic conditions

  • Adhere to medical and administrative protocols and ethics

  • Consult Medical Director on patient management

  • Recommend patients for further treatments and specialists

  • Participate in staff meetings and provide input for clinic improvement

  • Prescribe essential medicine to patients

  • Perform related duties as directed by Medical Director

  • Implement community-based, patient-centered medical home process

  • Facilitate audits for meeting State and Federal regulations

  • Serve as preceptor for medical students and students for Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant programs

  • Participate in daily team meetings/huddles

  • Support Nursing Staff and implement policies and procedures

  • Rotate between Health Clinics as needed

Qualifications

  • Doctorate degree (MD/DO)

  • 3+ years of experience in Gynecology and Obstetrics

  • Valid Medical Doctor (MD) license in California (CA)

  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration in California (CA)

  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications

  • Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) certification
