Position Overview
HireCall is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a busy OBGYN office in Tulsa. OBGYN experience is preferred, but candidates with strong medical assisting experience are encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented medical office.
Responsibilities
Room patients and prepare them for appointments
Take and record patient vital signs
Administer injections
Assist physicians during office procedures
Handle triage phone calls
Record and update patient histories
Maintain accurate paper patient charts
Help maintain efficient patient flow throughout the office
Provide professional and compassionate patient care
Qualifications & Skills
Certified Medical Assistant experience required
Active CMA certification is preferred; relevant experience may be considered
OBGYN experience preferred
Ability to multitask in a busy medical office
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service and patient-care skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Comfortable working with paper medical charts
