    Position: OBGYN Physician, Laborist

    Location: Greenwich, CT

    Overview:

    We are thrilled to present a remarkable opportunity for exceptional Laborists to become part of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences within one of Connecticut's largest and most comprehensive healthcare systems. This organization is renowned for its advanced clinical services, commitment to quality, cost-effectiveness, and dedication to enhancing the health of the communities it serves.

    As a member of our dedicated team of maternity specialists, you will collaborate with board-certified physicians, nationally certified nurses, midwives, and experts in high-risk pregnancies. Qualified Laborists will hold full-time positions at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level within the Academic Clinician track. Our medical team works closely with obstetricians, utilizing cutting-edge technology to provide exceptional care in the Labor and Delivery Unit. Each year, our experienced team of doctors and nurses assists in bringing nearly 2,600 new lives into the world!

    Qualifications:

    • Board certified or eligible in general obstetrics and gynecology
    • Exceptional skills in surgical procedures and operative vaginal deliveries
    • Proven excellence in evidence-based obstetric care and teaching
    • Experience collaborating with certified nurse midwives; interest in clinical research is a plus
    • Willingness to work 12-hour shifts (2-4 days per week)
    • Proficient in monitoring laboring patients and delivering unassigned patients
    • Strong track record of safety
    • Excellent communication skills with patients and attending physicians
    • Commitment to patient safety

    Education and Training:

    • Medical Degree: Must have completed an MD or DO from an accredited institution
    • Residency: Must have completed an accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology
