How you'll make an impact in this role
We are looking for a Board Certified OBGYN MD/DO with 4 years experience for our new OB Hospitalist program.
The OB Hospitalist will be responsible for:
Management of labor up to and including delivery, as requested by generalist physicians
Urgent postpartum care as requested by the assigned physician
Providing back-up and consultation for midwifery service
Caring for all unassigned patients who present to the OB Unit or Emergency Room
Triage of all patients who present to the unit unless directly admitted
When requested, assist in cesarean deliveries
Communicate with Maternal Fetal Medicine on consults & actions when requested
Level III maternity center
Level III NICU
24hr dedicated OB anesthesia

Call Schedule: dedicated on-site call coverage with frequency and responsibilities as noted above
