Job Descriptions:
The Insurance Specialist is a full-time on-site position responsible for managing insurance-related processes to support accurate and timely reimbursement.
Day-to-day activities include verifying patient insurance coverage, obtaining authorizations and referrals, and confirming benefits prior to visits.
The role involves reviewing claims prior to submission, resolving billing discrepancies, and addressing denials or payment issues with insurance carriers.
The position also involves credentialing and review of insurance contracts and consider appealing any contract whose rates are low.
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of OB/GYN coding.
Knowledge and experience in OB/GYN coding is required.
Experience with E-CLinical medical software.
Proficiency with practice management and ability to generate financial data.
Experience in a medical office setting, preferably in an OB/GYN.
Ability to interpret insurance policies and explanation of benefits.
Proven customer service skills with a patient-focused approach.
The position is Monday thru Friday.
Benefits include: PTO time, holiday vacations, health insurance, and paid parking.
Salary is based on experience and in the range of 45,000 to 50,000 dollars annual salary.
