The Department of Anesthesiology at our organization is actively looking for fellowship-trained Obstetric Anesthesiologists at all levels to enhance our obstetric anesthesia faculty. About the RoleOur practice caters to both healthy parturients and those with complex medical conditions. There are opportunities to provide anesthesia care for obstetric patients beyond the labor and delivery suite, including interventional radiology and general operating rooms for non-obstetric surgeries. Our institution sees approximately 2,500 deliveries each year, with over 50% of our patient population classified as high-risk or managed by Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM). We have a wide referral network, accepting high-risk cases from various counties in New York and eastern Vermont, ensuring a high level of specialized care.
ResponsibilitiesWe offer a competitive salary for the Assistant Professor level, ranging from $391,000 to $411,000, with discussions for higher ranks following interviews. Additional benefits include a generous sign-on bonus of up to $45,000, relocation assistance of up to $7,500, and opportunities for overtime compensation.
