Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to the hospital’s diverse patient population.
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage treatment plans, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
  • Collaborate with hospital administrators to contribute to practice budgets, strategic planning, and marketing efforts.
  • Assist in staff recruitment, supervision, and evaluation for the practice location.
  • Engage in utilization management, quality improvement initiatives, patient satisfaction programs, and committee participation.
  • Contribute to community benefit programs and participate in after-hours and on-call coverage as required.
  • Support hospital activities including teaching, community outreach, and other services as needed.

Requirements:

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Licensure to practice medicine within the state of New York.
  • DEA certification.
  • Previous experience working within hospital-based multidisciplinary teams.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing as an OBGYN.
