Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to the hospitals diverse patient population.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage treatment plans, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
- Collaborate with hospital administrators to contribute to practice budgets, strategic planning, and marketing efforts.
- Assist in staff recruitment, supervision, and evaluation for the practice location.
- Engage in utilization management, quality improvement initiatives, patient satisfaction programs, and committee participation.
- Contribute to community benefit programs and participate in after-hours and on-call coverage as required.
- Support hospital activities including teaching, community outreach, and other services as needed.
Requirements:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Licensure to practice medicine within the state of New York.
- DEA certification.
- Previous experience working within hospital-based multidisciplinary teams.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing as an OBGYN.
