What You'll Do:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient obstetrics and gynecology services to diverse patient populations
- Manage both high-risk and low-risk OB patients, demonstrating proficiency in dating ultrasounds
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Stay current with medical standards and contribute to a positive patient experience
Required Skills:
- 1+ years of outpatient OB-GYN experience
- Strong proficiency in dating ultrasounds and newborn care
- Ability to see both high-risk and low-risk obstetric patients
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to accurately document clinical encounters and maintain timely chart closure within 72 hours
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with additional EMR platforms
- Prior exposure to a busy outpatient clinic environment
- Knowledge of current women's health guidelines and protocols
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Minimum of one year of clinical outpatient OB-GYN experience
Other Requirements:
- Active DEA license required before start date
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications and immunizations, including flu vaccine, TB testing, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and Tdap
- Credentialing process takes 30-90 days; timely submission of documentation is essential
- Three peer references from recent colleagues at the same or higher training level
- Must be willing to provide a 30-day notice for termination of assignment
- Valid immunizations and compliance with expense and credentialing guidelines
