• 12-hour shifts -- days 7 am - 7 pm or nights 7 pm - 7 am
• 12 guaranteed hours per day; 7 - 14 shifts per month
• 5 - 10 patients per shift
• OB/Gyn hospitalist role on labor and delivery unit
• Dedicated ORs on unit -- surgical coverage included
• C-sections, VBAC, breech, abruptions, and laparoscopic gyn required
• Covers unassigned OB patients and gyn ED patients
• OB ultrasound performance and interpretation required
