REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Management of low and high risk pregnancies, fetal heart rate interpretation (NST, CST, FSE), routine and complicated vaginal and Cesarean deliveries, VBACs, and repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• OB ultrasound interpretation (preferred), including Level I viability and Level II screening studies
• Surgical gynecology including laparoscopic procedures, tubal ligation, lysis of adhesions, ectopic pregnancy surgery, oophorectomy, cystectomy, and major operative gynecologic procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active New Mexico medical license or ability to obtain one
• Board: Board Certified OB/GYN
• DEA: Active DEA required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP required
• Experience: Must provide current case logs meeting privileging requirements
• Other Qualifications: Must be able to obtain hospital privileges and meet all immunization and drug screening requirements

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide 24-hour on call OB/GYN coverage for labor and delivery, obstetric emergencies, gynecologic emergencies, and emergency department consultations
• Evaluate and manage routine and high risk obstetric patients requiring hospital care
• Perform vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, VBACs, and emergency gynecologic surgical procedures as needed
• Respond to hospital call requests within the required 20-minute response time
• Collaborate with permanent physicians, nursing staff, and hospital personnel to provide high quality patient care
