What Youll Do
- Manage obstetric and gynecological emergencies in a busy facility
- Provide support for unassigned patients and cover the Obstetrics Emergency Department (OBED)
- Serve as surgical first assist and respond to OB/GYN emergencies
- Perform cesarean sections and other surgical procedures as needed
- Support and backup in-house Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs)
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care
What You Need
- Valid Texas Medical License and DEA registration
- Board-Certified in OB/GYN
- Minimum of 2 years experience in vaginal delivery and Cesarean sections
- Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations
- IMLC qualification (if applicable) with Letter of Qualification
About the Assignment
Work in a reputable facility located in Allen, Texas, providing obstetric and gynecological emergency care. The facility averages approximately 300-400 annual deliveries and utilizes the Epic EMR system.
