What You’ll Do
  • Evaluate and treat patients in the Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED)
  • Manage care for unassigned OB/GYN patients
  • Monitor labor and interpret fetal heart tracings
  • Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
  • Serve as primary safety monitor for labor and delivery units
  • Provide consults for pregnancy and gynecologic concerns
  • Respond to obstetrical emergencies and evolving labor complications
  • Participate in emergency drills and quality improvement initiatives
  • Follow evidence-based protocols and safety standards
What You Need
  • MD or DO degree, Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Completion of an accredited ACGME OB/GYN residency program with robotics training
  • Current Texas Medical License or willingness to obtain
  • Recent experience in deliveries and surgical procedures
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

This assignment takes place at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital, a 369-bed acute care and surgical facility serving the Arlington community for over 60 years. The facility handles approximately 1,300-1,500 births annually, featuring a Level III NICU, private maternity suites, and dedicated high-risk pregnancy areas. Join a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, anesthesiologists, OB/GYN hospitalists, certified nurse midwives, and family medicine physicians providing top-tier maternal care.
