ATC West Healthcare Services is working with a facility in Fresno, California, is seeking a Board-Certified Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join their team as an Obstetrics Hospitalist . This Locum and Locum-to-Perm opportunity provides is a great way to 'test the waters' before signing a contract. This is a comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care in a supportive Level II NICU environment , utilizing EPIC EMR and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes.
Open Dates / Schedule5 6 twenty-four-hour shifts per month (7:00 AM 7:00 AM)
Both weekday and weekend shifts required (same 24-hour schedule)
Holiday shifts available with premium pay
Average 4 5 deliveries per 24-hour shift (majority vaginal deliveries, 25% C-sections)
No on-call responsibilities
Care for patients daily (inpatient, outpatient, rounds, clinic)
Supported by a collaborative, multidisciplinary hospital team
Level II NICU facility
EMR: EPIC
Initial and secondary interviews conducted virtually (Teams/Zoom)
Competitive compensation (based on experience and training)
Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Board Eligible not accepted)
Delivery experience required (vaginal deliveries & C-sections)
Active and unrestricted:
State Medical License (or active application in progress)
DEA License
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
COVID-19 vaccination required per facility policy
1 5 years of relevant OB/GYN practice experience (not required)
Fellowship not required
New graduates, candidates who are only board-eligible, or those with lapsed board certification, are not eligible .
Candidates with malpractice or licensing issues may be considered on a case-by-case basis .
